The Call of the Wild
Greg and I have always been drawn to explore. Even when we barely had money to spare, we took every opportunity to go and see something new close to where we lived. So it is no surprise that we couldn’t wait for retirement to travel the world. We had to do it before we turned 30. So we saved up, planned, packed, and off we went to live our dream, World Mug in hand.
As avid travellers, we've been fortunate to explore some of the planet's most breathtaking landscapes. From the icy expanses of Antarctica to the vibrant corals of the Great Barrier Reef, our adventures have opened our eyes to the fragility of our environment. Witnessing the impacts of climate change and human activity firsthand has fuelled our passion for sustainability and inspired us to take action, both individually and as a business.
In our day-to-day lives in the UK, Europe or the US, it is easy to miss and even forget how our actions (every single thing we do) have an impact. But when you see with your own eyes a sea lion pup “playing” with a plastic bottle in the ocean somewhere in the remote Galapagos Islands, you realise we have gone way too far and our impact on other species’ habitats is very, very real.
